On this page, you will find various images of past apparatus that has served the Harris Hill Vol.Fire Co. Below each image is a description of the truck, and it's respective in-service, and out of service date.
Engine #3
1987 Duplex/Young Pumper. Placed into service March 1987.
This pumper had a 1500gpm pump, and a 750 gallon water tank, accompanied with
Hy-dra-lok hydraulic pump valves that were state of the art at
time of manufacture. Engine 3 was sold in August of 2007 to Joy Volunteer Fire Co. of Searcy Arkansas.
Car 9
2002 Dodge Durango Chiefs car, replaced in 2008.
Truck #6
1976 American Lafrance Snorkel. Placed into service in
1976. Refurbished in 1990 by RD-Murray to include partial jump seat enclosure.
2000GPM Pump, 300 gallon tank. 85ft aerial. This Truck was ordered in 1972, to prepare for the new Eastern Hills Mall, which is located in the western portion of our fire district. Truck 6 carried our largest
compliment of ground ladders which included 40&50ft bangor ladders. At one
point, this was the only aerial ladder in the entire Town of Clarence, Village
of Akron, and Town of Newstead. It was frequently called for Mutual Aid during
large structure fires. This unit was replaced by our current ladder truck in 2003

1971 Seagrave pumper. 1250GPM, 500 gallon tank. Sold in
2003 to private collector in New York State.

1977 Seagrave pumper. 1250GPM, 500 gallon tank. Sold in
1992.
Currently owned by Oakland VFC, of Oakland Alabama.

1987 Ford/Wheeled Coach Ambulance, sold in 1999.
Rescue #5
1983 Mack-R/Swab Heavy
Rescue Truck, custom built for HHVFC, walk-through rescue body seated 7 firefighters. Replaced in 2000.

1971 Rescue truck, sold and replaced in
1982.
Engine #5
1981 GMC/Saulsbury Mini pumper. Seated 3 firefighters, 250gpm pump, 300 gallon tank. In service until 1993.

1953 dodge pumper. Replaced in 1971.

1953 rescue truck, carried mostly carried first aid and Civil Defense supplies at the time. Replaced in 1971.

1965 Cadillac Ambulance. Replaced in 1974.
